To further promote the development of innovation and entrepreneurship activities among our college students, the college has established the "College Student Innovation Activity Base" and the "College Student Entrepreneurship Incubation Base" on the fifth floor of the Feicui Science and Education Building. We plan to select a group of outstanding undergraduate teams for admission. The relevant matters are notified as follows:
I. Admission to the College Student Innovation Activity Base
Application Conditions
(1) Team members must be undergraduate students from the School of Computer and Information (Artificial Intelligence College), with the team leader generally being an upper-year undergraduate student.
(2) The number of team members should be at most six in principle.
(3) The team must have at least one full-time teacher as the advisor.
Types of Achievements
(1) High-level papers (undergraduates as the first author);
(2) Invention patents (undergraduates as the first inventor);
(3) Demonstrative physical systems and software systems (with application value, technical content, and undergraduates as the main contributors).
Support Policies
(1) The team can use a 12-square-meter workroom in Room 501, Building D, Feicui Science, and Education Building, along with corresponding office equipment and network facilities.
(2) The team can use the computing power of two servers with four GPU cards for free.
(3) The college provides special funds for innovation activities, covering expenses such as paper publication fees, patent application fees, conference participation fees, domestic travel expenses, material costs, etc. Teams with particularly outstanding achievements may participate in international academic exchange activities upon approval by the college.
(4) The college will provide corresponding year-end performance rewards to guiding teachers for the above achievements.
II. Admission to the College Student Entrepreneurship Incubation Base
Application Conditions
(1) Team members must be undergraduate students from the School of Computer and Information (Artificial Intelligence College), with the team leader generally being an upper-year undergraduate student.
(2)The number of team members should be at most eight in principle.
(3) The team must have at least one full-time teacher as the advisor.
Types of Achievements
(1) Awards from the China International College Students' Innovation Competition (formerly "Internet+"), provincial and national levels;
(2) Awards from the "Challenge Cup" China College Students' Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, provincial and national levels;
(3) Practical entrepreneurial effectiveness (economic benefits).
Support Policies
(1) The team can use a 12-square-meter workroom in Room 502, Building D, Feicui Science, and Education Building, along with corresponding office equipment and network facilities.
(2) The team can use the computing power of two servers with four GPU cards for free.
(3) The college invites entrepreneurship mentors and national competition experts to guide product definition, market strategy, team building, financial planning, commercial plans, project presentation PPTs, videos, etc. Incubation funds will be provided for eligible outstanding project teams.
(4) The college will provide corresponding year-end performance rewards to guiding teachers for the above achievements.
III. Submission of Application Materials
Admitting teams should submit the following materials by May 31, 2024:

IV. Selection and Review
Review of admitting teams. The college will organize experts to review the application materials of admitting teams and conduct defense sessions, finally determining the list of proposed admitting teams.
Public announcement of admitting teams. The selected innovative and entrepreneurial teams will be publicly announced.
Admitting teams should complete the admission process by June 10, 2024.
